What is the Italian American Cultural Foundation?
We are an organization committed to preserving our Italian American heritage through the education of our children.  We work to implement and develop programs which broaden the knowledge of the Italian culture, heritage, and ethnic identity primarily at High Schools & Colleges in Northeast Ohio.  Our programs include essay and Italian language awards incorporated in the curriculum of these schools.

Honoring the past and enriching the future is the mission of the Italian American Cultural Foundation which recently celebrated its' 30th Anniversary.

The IACF resolves to strengthen the Italian American ethnic identity by cultivating understanding of our fertile Italian heritage. To that end, it places libraries of Italian American works in participating high schools and colleges. Students are invited to select a text and submit an essay describing how the particular book influenced their perspective and understanding of their Italian American heritage.

The goal of the IACF is to educate by providing students with a knowledge of the past, awareness of the present, and the tools to develop a vision of the future.
